For a small additional fee, our team will freeze your fillets at our base and pack into an airline approved seafood box, for you to fly/transfer your fish back to your home state.

Description

Perfect for those with limited time, our Half-Day Reef & Sport Fishing Charter is a great introduction to Darwin's inshore fishing. To maximise your fishing time on this 4-hour trip, we stay close to the city and fish the waters of Darwin Harbour. Each charter is tailored to the day's tides, weather conditions and seasonal fishing, allowing our experienced guides to target the species that are biting and give you the best possible experience in a short timeframe.

We typically run these charters in the morning or afternoon, depending on conditions - just let us know your preference when booking.

Given the shorter timeframe, we're focused on making the most of the available time. Your half-day trip might involve reef fishing, sport fishing, or sometimes a bit of both, depending on what the conditions allow and where we have the best chance of action. We can't promise the same variety or results as our full-day charters, but it's a good way to get out on the water. Our guides are on hand to offer tips and assistance with techniques. We'll also have snacks and cool drinks available to keep you comfortable throughout the trip.

Casting poppers and stickbaits for pelagics such as Giant Trevally and Queenfish
Jigging for Spanish Mackerel
Casting jigs and lures for Longtail Tuna
