Description
Our half day charters cater for those that are time short. With a maximum of 6 guests aboard our high speed Westerberg 7650 (or 5 guests on our Stabicraft 759), we will visit some top fishing destinations close in to Darwin. Our highly experienced team will tailor your fishing charter to suit the tides, weather conditions and time of year to ensure we produce the best results for our guests.
We may run our half day charters in the morning or afternoon. If you have a preference, please let us know at the time of booking. Please note, we generally run our half days charters in the afternoon/evening. Your charter will begin with a meet and greet at the launch location in Darwin at about 3pm with the plan to return at about 7pm (tide dependant). After our introduction, we will travel to our first destination. Our guides are always on the lookout for sport species such as Tuna, Mackerel, Queenfish and Trevally.
Your half day charter may include reef and/or sport fishing. We are time short on our half day charters, so no promises that we will do both. Sometimes we may only do sport fishing, other days only reef fishing and some days a bit of both. Our half day charters provide a taste of the full day experience. Upon arrival at each destination, your guide will provide you with all the tutoring and assistance required for your to master the various techniques. Plenty of snacks and cool drinks are available to keep your energy and hydration up through out the charter.
You are of course welcome to keep or release the fish you catch. Many guests like to keep their catch and take it home with them. Our team will clean, fillet and bag your fish to take home. Please note our team adheres strictly to Northern Territory fishing regulations and bag limits.
